Description:

Jones Bros is seeking a Full-Time Scale Clerk for our Aggregates Division in Alexandria, TN. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for operating the truck scale system, taking customer orders, dispatching trucks, and performing general clerical duties in accordance with established procedures.

• Operate truck scales for the dispatch and delivery of products and materials.
• Answer customer calls and assist with customer service needs.
• Take customer orders and coordinate truck dispatching.
• Assist with processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems, including payables, payroll, and related documentation.
• Support sales staff with customer service responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Entry-level position.
• High school diploma required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
