Location: Baxter

Drafter and Supervisor of drafting department of Cabinet, Fixtures and Millwork Manufacturer serving multiple industries, such as:
Hospitality, Retail, Restaurant, Entertainment, Hospitals, Universities, Banks, Manufacturing Facilities, Entertainment venues, and much more. This person will coordinate with production control, sales, customers, internal departments and manufacturing to ensure accurate and timely release of all drawings going into production. Expert experience with Microvellum Software a huge plus! Currently, supervises 2-5 CAD Drafters and directs their daily schedule. This position will primarily consist of drawing for customer and shop submittals when not supervising drafting department and coordinating all projects that are being drawn.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and develop casework, furniture, and millwork projects for submission to the shop floor for manufacturing.
  • Project Design and Development.
  • Production Drawings and Manufacturing Documentation for each work order assigned.
  • Product and Interior renderings as needed.
  • Review all work of design developers and improve processes and eliminate mistakes.
    • Qualifications
  • Background in designing custom casework, furniture, and millwork in AutoCAD.
  • Ability to multitask and concentrate on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to set and meet daily deadlines.
  • Ability to oversee work of department.
