CAD Designer 1 (U-Metal)
Junior-level designer responsible for performing design activities with additional individual responsibilities as assigned.
Location:
On-site in Erwin, Tennessee.
Performs design functions with supervisory oversight. Produce design details of equipment, facilities, and structures in accordance with standards. Knowledge of and ability to apply industry standards to designs is required. Consult with A/E firms, vendors, and construction contractors as required to fulfill assignments. Determine materials and equipment specifications and take offs for structures, processing and utility equipment. Identify and work with others to resolve technical design issues.
Responsible for individual assignments on project teams. Assume responsibility for specific tasks as assigned.
A.S.
-- Graphic Design or 4 years CAD design experience. With
A. S. Degree, 3 - 5 years' experience as a CAD Designer with Microstation training or experience OR without degree 7 years CAD design/drafting experience.
