About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and passionate Architectural Designer with a focus on Sustainable Housing to contribute to innovative projects in East London . This role involves actively participating in the design process, developing creative solutions, and producing detailed documentation for environmentally conscious residential buildings. You will work within a collaborative team environment, assisting senior architects in translating sustainable principles into practical and aesthetically pleasing designs that enhance occupant well-being and minimize environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development of architectural concepts and design proposals for sustainable housing projects .
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and visualizations using relevant software.
- Research and integrate sustainable materials, technologies, and building systems into design solutions.
- Collaborate with the design team, consultants, and clients to refine designs and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Ensure architectural designs comply with local building regulations and environmental standards in East London .
- Support the preparation of documentation for planning applications and construction phases.
- Degree in Architecture or relevant design field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in architectural design, with an interest or experience in sustainable design .
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- A strong understanding of sustainable building principles and materials.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with an eagerness to learn and contribute.
- Attention to detail and a passion for innovative residential design.
