Team Health is seeking a full‑time facility medical director to lead the emergency department at North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, Tennessee. Our team is committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care with a strong focus on key performance metrics, including CMS initiatives for sepsis, stroke, and STEMI. We also emphasize the use of Heart Score and effective ED management of CHF to reduce 72‑hour readmissions.
Through our emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and ICU service lines, we prioritize collaborative communication and coordinated care from arrival to discharge. As a Team Health physician leader, you’ll receive a leadership stipend, robust support, and access to leadership training and development through the Team Health Institute, along with opportunities for career advancement.
Candidates must be board‑certified in emergency medicine (EM) or family practice (FP); previous leadership experience is a plus.
