With a budget of almost $12M, we support 85+ employees in 60+ schools that serve more than 30,000 students and families across Tennessee. • Lead the annual needs assessment process based on data from districts and schools, surveys, and discussions with staff, parents, and students to identify gaps in services and barriers to engagement.
  • Develop and implement a school support plan with measurable objectives, coordinating with the school support team and principal; ensure services are delivered throughout the year across Tier I, II, and III, and involve outside partners where appropriate.
  • Monitor and adjust services regularly to maximize effectiveness and impact, including monthly and quarterly progress monitoring.
  • Manage an annual budget with a discretionary supply budget to purchase materials related to the school support plan.
  • Provide case management for 25–50 students (approximately 10% of enrolled students) who need intensive support, including monthly check-ins, needs assessments, and student support plans; engage with families as needed, including home visits.
  • Advocate on behalf of case-managed students and families, including participation in IEP, MTSS, and related meetings as allowed by school administration.
  • Collaborate with the school attendance team to support school-wide attendance initiatives and track progress toward goals.
  • Recruit and engage community partners and volunteers to provide services identified in the school support plan.
  • Manage data entry in the CIS National database and access the school district’s SIS to monitor progress and pull data.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of achieving school and student goals through systematic data collection and reporting; prepare regular monthly, quarterly, and end-of-year reports for school and affiliate leadership and national offices.
