With a budget of almost $12M, we support 85+ employees in 60+ schools serving more than 30,000 students and families across Tennessee.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct services to students and families including counseling, student support, youth development, and resource development.
- Develop meaningful, long‑lasting relationships with students and families, advocate for their needs, connect families to community services, and develop programming tailored to the school community.
- Report to the assigned regional Program Director.
- Engage a school support team that collaborates with administrators, staff, teachers, volunteers, faculty, and community partners.
- Lead the annual needs assessment process using data from school improvement plans, surveys, staff discussions, and previous year evaluation results.
- Develop and implement a school support plan outlining Tier I, II, and III services to address identified gaps.
- Monitor and adjust services, leading the team in monthly and quarterly progress monitoring.
- Manage an annual discretionary budget for program materials.
- Recruit and case‑manage 10% of enrolled students (25–50) requiring intensive support, including Tier II and III services, monthly check‑ins, needs assessments, and family engagement.
- Advocate on behalf of case‑managed students and families, attending IEP and MTSS meetings as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the attendance team to support school‑wide attendance initiatives.
- Recruit and engage community partners and volunteers for program delivery.
- Manage data entry using the CIS National database and the district’s SIS.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of services in achieving school‑wide and individualized goals related to family engagement, SEL, and college and career readiness.
- Prepare regular reporting for school and affiliate leadership, contributing to partner and national office reports.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in social work, youth development, education, or a related field (preferred).
- Work and lived experience may substitute formal education with four to eight years of direct experience.
- Candidates pursuing a bachelor’s degree will also be considered.
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required.

Compensation And BenefitsSalary range for Program Managers is $60,674–$65,784.
