Clinical Assistant Professor / Lecturer – Exercise Physiology
The Department of Health and Sport Sciences at the University of Louisville invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor or Lecturer in Exercise Physiology with expertise in statistics and sport analytics. This is a non‑tenure‑track, 10‑month renewable appointment beginning January 1, 2027.
Candidates must hold at least a master’s degree in statistics, sport analytics, sport science, or a related field and have successful teaching experience in statistics, sport analytics, athlete monitoring, or data management. Proficiency with statistical and data analysis software such as R, Python, or SPSS is required.
Preferred qualifications include relevant human performance‑related certifications, experience with athlete monitoring technologies, accreditation processes, and evidence‑based teaching practices.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will contribute to teaching, service, community engagement, and program growth while supporting the University’s urban mission and collaborative partnerships.
