Location: Children’s Art Classes – Nolensville/Murfreesboro
Start Date: Summer 2026
Pay: $25 – $28/hour (based on experience)
Children’s Art Classes is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Art Instructor to support our summer camps and transition into teaching classes within our fall curriculum.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator who values a structured curriculum, small class sizes, and a supportive teaching environment focused on building confidence and enhancing problem solving in students.
What You Can Expect- All supplies and a full, structured curriculum provided
- Small class sizes (maximum of 13 students) for a focused teaching experience
- Opportunity to teach summer camps and continue into the academic year
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or a BFA (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of in-classroom teaching experience
- Experience delivering curriculum effectively
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young artists—from young children to teens
- A collaborative team player who values students, educational quality, coworkers, and community
- Strong leadership and classroom management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Integrity, transparency, and professionalism
- Availability to work two weeknights and two Saturdays a month
- Willingness to substitute for planned absences or emergencies in both Nolensville and Murfreesboro
- Availability to assist with summer camps, special events, and birthday parties
