Immediate Need for Substitute Teachers Servicing Weakley County Schools
The Substitute Teacher provides services as an employee of StaffEZ servicing Weakley County Schools by providing instruction, encouraging the students and managing the learning environment in a positive manner.
Work Year, Hours & Compensation:
Hours vary depending on assignment. Pay based on educational qualifications.
Substitute Teacher Daily Rate:
$75.00
Retired Teachers from Weakley County Schools:
$100.00

Essential Job Functions:
Qualifications:
- Completion of a High School Diploma/GED, credit consolidated at one four-year regionally accredited college and university, and/or hold a valid teaching certificate. High school is the only educational requirement for a substitute teacher.
- Completion of the required Global Compliance Network training modules.
- Demonstrated record of good attendance and punctuality.
- Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communication.
- Must meet criminal history background requirements (requires FBI Fingerprint and Drug clearance).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Occasional climbing of steps.
- Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels.
- Potential supervision of students outside in all types of weather.
- Depending on the assignment, it may involve more physical activity, e.g., Physical Education classes, pre-school, or special education assignments.
