Teaching Assistant - Alpha School

A Tennessee public school preschool teaching assistant (or paraprofessional) supports the lead teacher in fostering a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children under age 5. • "Highly Qualified" Status: For positions in Title I schools, assistants must meet federal standards, which include an Associate's degree or passing a state/local academic assessment (e.g., Para Pro test).
• Certifications: Possession of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is often preferred or required
