Assistant Youth Coordinator Full Time Position

Located in the Grésivaudan Valley and just 8 kilometers from Grenoble, Montbonnot-Saint-Martin is a dynamic commune of nearly 6,000 inhabitants. Enjoying a particularly attractive natural environment and numerous infrastructures dedicated to children and youth, Montbonnot-Saint-Martin attracts many families and must adapt its offer to the needs of the territory's public. The Youth Service is responsible for organizing after-school and extracurricular activities for 3-17 year olds.

We are looking for a full-time Youth Coordinator for 11-17 years to provide supervision and animation within our facilities. Do you enjoy working in a team? You will ensure the animation of the Young People's Hub (11-17 years old):

• Organize and animate activities and projects for the 11-17 years old public.
• Co-animate the Young People's Hub in a team.
• Participate in the implementation of the pedagogical project.
• Create/organize events for the adolescent public and actions outside the walls for the Youth Service.
• Develop partnerships.
• Ensure the physical and emotional safety of the public.
• Create a bond of trust with young people and parents.
• Know how to analyze your practice.
• Position yourself as a reference adult.
• Have psychosocial skills such as active listening, empathy, self-control, and benevolent authority.

You will also animate the after-school times with a children's public (6-10 years old):

• Intervene as an animator during after-school times (noon, evening) and during vacation leisure activities.
• Design, propose, and animate educational, playful, and pedagogical activities adapted to the age of the children.
• Implement the pedagogical project during after-school times and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure the physical, moral, and emotional safety of the children.
• Promote autonomy, socialization, and living together.
• Participate in the management of daily life (welcome of children, transitions, meal times, quiet times).
• Work as a team with other animators and structure managers.
• Participate in team meetings, preparation times, and evaluation times.

BPJEPS "LTP", BAFD or equivalent. Ability to animate and energize a group of adolescents. Force of proposal. Ability to work in a team and ability to adapt. Knowledge of the adolescent public. Holder of a B permit. Desired experience in leading projects.
