Fayette County Public Schools is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to join our advancing school system. The successful candidates will join a professional organization dedicated to student success. They will be expected to perform duties customary to an elementary teacher in PK to 5th grade, including preparing lessons toward mastery of state standards, collaborating with faculty, providing small group instruction, differentiating instruction, and offering interventions;
working with administrators and coaches to improve performance; monitoring students; and communicating with parents and stakeholders. Developing and administering assessments is also required.

Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Education
- Hold appropriate Tennessee certification license
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Effective decision‑making and verbal and written communication skills
- Be Highly Qualified in this area
Additionally, an active TN PK‑5 teaching license is required for the applicable grade level or the ability to obtain a TN teaching license.

Physical RequirementsOccasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.
