About the Role Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Exceptional Education Teacher to support students in White Bluff, TN. In this role, you ll provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, and create inclusive learning environments that help students succeed. You ll work with a collaborative district and a supportive, therapist-run team.

What You ll Do

Qualifications:

Education/Licensure:
Bachelor s degree, Valid Tennessee teaching license, Applicable Special Education endorsement;
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: knowledge of the special needs of students in the assigned area;
Knowledge of IEP goal-setting process and implementation;
Knowledge of how to adapt curriculum and instruction for special needs;

Create a conducive learning environment;
Manage student behavior per IEP;

Establish and maintain open communication with parents, students, principals, and teachers;
Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
