Assistant For Employee Child Care Program
Anderson County Schools Preschool is seeking an assistant for our Employee Child Care program at our Norwood Elementary School location. ECC TAs assist the lead teacher in the instruction and care of children ages 6 weeks to 3 years. Day-to-day activities are designed to promote developmentally appropriate social interactions and physical and cognitive growth. Classrooms are set up with one lead teacher and four assistants, caring for a maximum of 16 infants and/or toddlers.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required and experience working with small children is preferred.
This position is 196 days per year. Schedules will vary, between 7:00 AM-4:45 PM, M-F.
This position qualifies for all benefits offered to classified employees within the school district.
ECC employees are paid on the Anderson County Schools' Educational Assistants pay scale.
