Special Education Teacher | Centerville, Tennessee

Required Qualifications and

Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching license or certification in Tennessee (or the ability to obtain one)
• Background in creating individualized education plans (IEPs) and tracking student progress
• Experience working with high school-aged students receiving special education services
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Comfortable collaborating with general education staff, families, and student support teams
• Passionate about making a positive difference in students’ academic and personal growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on students’ unique learning needs and IEP goals
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary
