City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide daily in-class support and small-group tutoring to students
• Build positive, mentoring relationships with students to support attendance and engagement
• Monitor and track student progress using basic data tools
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to align support with classroom goals
• Participate in training, reflection, and leadership development sessions
• Engage families and community partners in school-based events and initiatives
• Model positive behavior and contribute to a safe, inclusive school climate
