Middle School Guide
Location: Johnson City, TN
Full-Time | Acton Academy Johnson City
This isn’t a traditional teaching job.

What You’ll Do- Facilitate a learner-driven middle school studio
- Lead Socratic discussions
- Coach learners in goal setting, accountability, and personal growth
- Foster a culture of curiosity, leadership, and responsibility
- Partner with families to support each learner’s journey
- Loves working with middle school students
- Believes young people are capable of extraordinary things
- Asks thoughtful questions instead of giving all the answers
- Is organized, dependable, and eager to learn
- Values character, leadership, and lifelong learning
Prior teaching experience is not required
. We encourage applicants from education, business, entrepreneurship, engineering, coaching, ministry, military service, and other mentoring-focused professions.
