Behavior Interventionist Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with picture communication systems and/or augmentative communication devices.
- Ability to pass and utilize therapeutic crisis intervention training provided by RCS.
- Meets all health, physical and background-check requirements.
- Hold a current Tennessee Teaching Certificate preferred.
- Have both training and successful experience working with students with moderate to severe behavioral problems.
- Must have successful training and/or experience working with students with Autism.
- Understand Federal, State and local regulations regarding the identification, placement and discipline of students with disabilities.
- Strong Interpersonal skills & ability to work effectively with a wide range of people (i.e., students, school administrators, teachers, other professionals in the school and community, support staff, parents, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills
- Interim Dates: 10/12/26-5/28/27*
