As the IEP case manager for grades 6-8, youll actively observe and support students within general education classrooms while working alongside general education and fellow special education teachers. With an approximate caseload of 95 IEPs, your work will be pivotal in ensuring all students receive the accommodations and adjustments they need. Notably, this assignment does not currently involve direct classroom teaching, allowing you to focus on individualized support and coordination.

• Valid Tennessee certification in Special Education for grades 6-8 (endorsement code 144-145)
• Previous experience with IEP case management, compliance, and documentation strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively collaborate with general and special education staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Passionate about advocating for students with varying abilities

• Serve as primary IEP case manager for a diverse caseload across grades 6-8
• Observe and support students in general education classrooms
• Collaborate and consult with classroom teachers to ensure IEP implementation
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state special education regulations
• Meet regularly with stakeholders, including staff and families, to review goals and progress
• Maintain accurate and timely IEP documentation and data
