The Summer Program Extension Grant Paraprofessional assists certified teaching staff in delivering remedial academic instruction and engaging enrichment activities during summer learning camps. Funded through Tennessee's learning loss remediation initiatives, this role is critical in providing small-group intervention, ensuring student safety, and maintaining necessary data compliance to prevent summer learning drop-off.

• Small-Group Tutoring: Work directly with small groups of students (typically in low adult-to-student ratios) to reinforce core math and reading lessons designed by the lead teacher.
• STREAM Facilitation: Actively support hands-on learning modules spanning Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STREAM).
• Differentiated Assistance: Adapt reinforcement methods to accommodate varying learning paces and student needs within the summer cohort.

• Positive Climate: Implement the school's positive behavior framework to cultivate a high-energy, encouraging, and structured camp environment.
• Routine Management: Maintain classroom order, distribute snacks following regulatory compliance guidelines, and assist in managing daily transitions.
• Supervision Safety: Actively monitor students during arrival, dismissal, meal times, and outdoor recreational or physical activity blocks.

• Data Tracking: Assist teachers in recording student daily attendance, lesson logs, and routine performance data mandated by the state grant.
• Material Prep: Organize, set up, and clean up physical learning centers, manipulatives, and tech devices daily to optimize instructional hours.

Strong verbal communication skills, patience with diverse student populations, and a highly dependable attendance record given the short programmatic window.
