ResponsibilitiesThe Safety Coordinator ensures that all safety programs, training, and procedures are implemented effectively to protect employees and support company operations. Key responsibilities include conducting safety audits and inspections, coordinating training, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies, investigating incidents, developing and maintaining documentation, and partnering with leadership to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with diverse groups across the organization.
Limited travel may be required for training or meetings.
Experience with safety management systems, incident-tracking software, Microsoft Office tools, and experience delivering employee training is preferred.
A degree in occupational safety, industrial management, or a related field, or one to two years of relevant safety experience and/or training is preferred. Leadership experience is a plus.
