Perform operation and maintenance of solar power plants in accordance with established preventive and corrective maintenance standards while maintaining safety and professionalism. Duties are performed on local sites; candidates should reside within 50 miles of Ridgely, Tennessee.

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of solar utility and sub‑station equipment.
• Document work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency schedules.
• Troubleshoot electrical components using digital multimeters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot installed solar equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Implement Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) safety procedures.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally.

• Minimum 2+ years of commercial/industrial operations and maintenance on solar power plants.
• Experience with preventive maintenance on solar utility equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and installation skills.
• Knowledge of inverters, tracker systems, or sub‑station equipment (e.g., TMEIC, SMA, Sungrow, Nextracker, ATI).
• Initiative to escalated issues and ability to train and mentor apprentices.
• High work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.

• Must live within approximately 50 miles of Ridgely, Tennessee.
• Will be exposed to outdoor ambient temperatures.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for weekends, holidays, and on‑call service via phone/text.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Hourly rate $30.00–$42.00, DOE. Additional performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation may be included.
