The Power Electronics Engineer will play a key role in designing and optimizing power conversion and power management systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop power conversion systems (DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC) for high-reliability and compact applications.
- Optimize power management architectures for efficiency, thermal performance, and system reliability.
- Perform PCB design, layout, and integration for high-density electronic systems.
- Conduct circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis to validate performance.
- Execute system testing, troubleshooting, and verification under demanding operating conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration into final products.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews and compliance processes.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
Master’s degree preferred. - 5–10 years of experience in power electronics development.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence, OrCAD, or equivalent).
- Strong background in DC-DC converters, voltage regulation, and power conditioning.
- Familiarity with low-power, high-efficiency electronic design techniques.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC considerations and thermal management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in an R&D or product-development environment.
- Experience with harsh-environment, high-voltage, high-frequency, or radiation-tolerant electronics (preferred).
- Experience with embedded control for power systems (preferred).
- Reliability testing or qualification experience for aerospace, defense, or energy applications (preferred).
