Funciones

Tabulate bids for maritime/land transport of oversized loads in international EPC projects.

Plan and oversee coordination meetings between different disciplines within the company and transporters to ensure efficient execution and design of transportation solutions.

Supervise special transport services provided by companies from office and manage associated logistics. (Depending on the criticality of the cargo, on-site presence for operations require travel to site).

Ensure contracted services are executed correctly, overseeing Load-out & Load-in maneuvers in RO-RO operations. (Depending on the criticality of the cargo, on-site presence for operations require travel to

site).

Verify, coordinate, and approve transportation drawings from suppliers, proposing alternatives to reduce dimensions and weights.

Approve drawings for the transportation of special equipment.

Review procedures (MoS) provided by transportation subcontractors, both terrestrial and maritime.

During the FEED phase of projects, collaborate with different company disciplines to define accelerations and maximum dimensions for transported loads.

Requisitos

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Heavy-Lifting and/or Freight Forwarding companies focused on project cargo, with an emphasis on transporting loads over 50 tons

At least 10 years of experience as a Transport Engineer and/or Heavy Lift specialist in transportation maneuvers.

Technical knowledge in special transports with hydraulic platforms and vessels.

Fluent in English (Meetings with subcontractors are conducted in English).

Computer skills:
Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, CAD.

Willingness to travel and relocate for specific periods.

Interpretation of equipment drawings, transportation plans, and lifting plans.

Outgoing personality with the initiative to communicate with personnel involved in the hole operation
