We are seeking a highly experienced and results‑driven Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead and execute process optimization initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate will serve as a change agent, driving a culture of operational excellence by utilizing advanced analytical skills and proven methodologies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, improve quality, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
WhatYou Will Do in Your Role
- Lead and manage complex, high‑impact continuous improvement projects, including Lean Six Sigma DMAIC projects, Kaizen events, and Value Stream Mapping exercises, from inception through sustainable implementation across multiple functions.
- Identify performance gaps, process inefficiencies, and root causes through the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data using statistical methods and software such as Minitab and Visio.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using advanced Lean methodologies and Six Sigma tools to optimize process flow, improve quality, and reduce lead time and work‑in‑process.
- Own and manage the Engineering Change process for all approved process and design modifications resulting from continuous improvement projects.
- Coach, mentor, and train cross‑functional teams and junior engineers on continuous improvement principles, tools, and structured problem‑solving techniques to embed a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
- Partner with senior leadership to ensure improvement initiatives are aligned with key business objectives and organizational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Use financial analysis tools to calculate, track, and report quantifiable impacts such as cost savings, capacity increases, and waste reduction from improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, or Operational Excellence.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, process mapping, statistical analysis, and simulation tools.
- Experience using project management tools and methodologies.
- Prior experience working within the automotive manufacturing industry.
