We are seeking a highly capable Product Engineering Manager for a global manufacturing client to lead the development and integration of embedded systems within complex hardware products. This role is responsible for overseeing cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring seamless collaboration between mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines, and driving the successful execution of product development initiatives from concept through production. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in embedded systems and product engineering, combined with leadership experience in dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing or technology environments.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly capable Product Engineering Manager for a global manufacturing client to lead the development and integration of embedded systems within complex hardware products. This role is responsible for overseeing cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring seamless collaboration between mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines, and driving the successful execution of product development initiatives from concept through production. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in embedded systems and product engineering, combined with leadership experience in dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing or technology environments.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Master's degree is preferred.

Requirement:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in product engineering, embedded systems, or related engineering roles.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial position.

• Strong experience working with embedded systems (firmware, hardware-software integration).

• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.

• Experience in product development lifecycle from concept, design, validation, to production.

• Background in manufacturing environments, preferably in automotive, aerospace, electronics, or industrial equipment.

• Strong understanding of system architecture and product integration.

• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.

• Advanced English communication skills required.

Knowledge:

• Embedded systems architecture and firmware development.

• Hardware-software integration and system validation.

• Product development processes and stage-gate methodologies.

• Design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).

• Engineering tools such as CAD systems and embedded development platforms.

• Quality and reliability standards (e.g., ISO, IPC, or industry-specific standards).

• Familiarity with simulation, testing, and validation processes.

• Understanding of automation, IoT, or smart product technologies is a plus.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, and supply chain.

• Define system architecture and ensure robust hardware-software integration.

• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet business goals.

• Implement best practices in product development, validation, and continuous improvement.

• Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.

• Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies within product development.
