Leidos Defense is seeking a talented Electro-Mechanical Technician to lead a diverse team in creating unique solutions for complex problems. The role involves designing and building hardware to meet technical requirements, interpreting drawings, fabricating production and prototype hardware, testing, and deploying equipment in collaboration with engineers and customers.
Basic Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of applicable experience.
- Individual must be interested in fabrication of hardware, be mechanically inclined, and demonstrate a good work ethic and responsibility.
- Good communication skills, ability to work well in a team with diverse skillsets, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Candidate must have experience in the following areas: [list not provided].
- Candidate must be a resident of North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville‑North Alabama area.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (or be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
