Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a SEIT IFC 2.0 Milestone Planning Manager 2 in support of the Sentinel program. This leadership role will be located in Colorado Springs, CO, Huntsville, AL, Roy, UT or Bellevue, NE
.

As a Manager of the Milestone Planning team, you will be responsible for leading systems engineering execution as the main focal point for Command Systems (CS) program leadership and product team integration into the IFC 2.0 program milestone which demonstrate system design and performance during the EMD contract. At a minimum, you will be responsible for the oversight and on-schedule development of the CS integrated functional capability architecture model, use cases, requirements, and performance analysis necessary for major milestone demonstration event success.

You will lead the implementation of the processes dictating requirements, analysis, architecture, and verification alignment to major program milestones. You will work with both the Program and CS Product Development Teams to develop and mature systems engineering content and artifacts using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methods.

• Act as the CS liaison for the major program event (MPE).
• Ensure major projects, program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated.
• Develop metrics to track technical development progress to meeting major program milestones.
• Track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, and resolve critical path challenges.
• Ensuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope and manages change through control board activities.
• Responsible for the management, oversight and reporting of budget and schedule for IFC 2.0.
• Coordinate and communicate technical execution and risks/mitigation to cross-discipline teams, government customers, and program leadership.
• Ensure the successful execution of technical reviews and readiness for IFC 2.0.
• Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools.
• Development and adherence to master plans and schedules.
• Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and a minimum 8 years of related experience or master’s degree with 6 years of related experience
• US Citizenship with Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years
