First Line Electrical Engineering Manager
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring a First Line Electrical Engineering Manager in Huntsville, AL. This manager will lead a team of engineers, driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution. As a technical leader, coach, and mentor, you will develop your team’s skills and expertise, and ensure successful delivery of program requirements.
Position Responsibilities- Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, and continuous ongoing feedback
- Coordinating employee recruitment, selection, and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition, and disciplinary actions
- Supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, and promoting customer focus
- Utilizing strong knowledge in circuit card design experience to drive technical excellence
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Master’s preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Experience with Design Assurance process for circuit card designs and/or FPGAs
- Experience in generating BOEs
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams - Full Lifecycle Development Experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter personality;
Ability to multitask
- Active Secret Clearance
- Earned Value Management Experience
- Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, employee development and mentoring
- Proposal Development Experience;
Basis of Estimate (BOE) Development - Process Improvement and Affordability experience
- Strong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinking
- Strong interpersonal skills
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.

Benefits and CompensationSummary pay range: $141,000 - $190,900. Competitive base pay with variable compensation opportunities.
