Your Mission

The mission of the product designer is to ensure the relevance and coherence of the product ranges or technologies for which they are responsible, to guarantee the reliability of the associated technical documents, and to follow the evolution projects of these ranges (cost reduction projects, extension of range, or obsolescence).

Attached to the OIS study office within the "Core Design Electronics & Logiciel" entity, your mission will be:

• Contribute to the design of the future optoelectronic modules of the D-Lightsys range

  • Be the key contributor to define the functional electronic bricks for these technologies,

  • Participate in the definition of product architectures and the selection of electronic components,

  • Realize the design of electronic circuit schematics,

  • Ensure the routing of complex printed circuit boards,

  • Conduct the necessary analyses and studies to justify the design choices,

  • Orchestrate part of the work of interaction with the manufacturers of electronic boards,

  • Realize prototypes and participate in the tests according to the planned validation plans (hardware and software),

  • Participate in the establishment of the definition files for production,

• Intervene in the context of product development or technological projects

  • Be responsible for the provision of key deliverables of the electronic design,

  • Interact with the project manager and the rest of the project teams for the conduct of projects (risk management, definition of mitigations, holding of the design batch planning, reporting...),

  • Pilot a complete product design batch

• Interact with several teams

  • Work closely with the other actors of the R&D team (mechanical design, embedded software, optics, product performance...),

  • Interact with the different services Purchasing, Quality, Production, Methods.
