• Interpreting customer and sales submitted technical documents, quotations, and service requests and applying that data directly to the quoted task at hand.
• Communicating technical information clearly and concisely to management and customers.
• Travel to job locations, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and properly applying pertinent technical and safety standards to the assigned work. i.e. (IEEE, NETA, NEMA, NEC).
• Creating test reports and summaries of work completed.
• Assist in training service technicians in basic protective relay and control systems.

• High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
• Trade/Tech. school with 5-7 years of proven OTJ experience in Power systems Protection and controls.
• Or:
  Equivalent Military training plus proven OTJ experience in Power System Protection and controls.
• Or:
  University/College 2–4-year Engineering Technology plus related Power System Protection experience
