The Mortgage Monetary Specialist is primarily responsible for posting and researching mortgage payments and payoff funds for LMCU’s Mortgage portfolio. This role also provides support to the Mortgage Servicing phone queue while adhering to investor, federal, and state regulations.

• Process mortgage payments and payoffs received in the mail so they are reflected on mortgage accounts within the required timeline.
• Answer member inquiries about mortgage or HELOC accounts via the Mortgage Servicing phone queue, maintaining the five‑star service promise and complying with investor, state, and federal regulation.
• Perform maintenance on automated payment records, ensuring product guidelines are followed and documentation is archived.
• Process payment exceptions and research with other departments (e.g., Loss Prevention, Item Processing).
• Assist with daily mortgage servicing functions: process loan payments and payoffs, update and maintain the servicing system, and respond to email or Live Chat requests for mortgage information.
• Adhere to and champion core values of curious minds, collaborative hearts, and continuous excellence.

• One to three years of similar or related experience; prior experience in the Mortgage industry is a plus.
• Working knowledge of mortgage programs such as Symitar, Interlinq, Midanet, Mornet, Freddie Selling System, and Fannie Loan Delivery System.
