Job Description
The Commercial Relationship Specialist provides general administrative support to Relationship Managers within Commercial Banking and may also support specialized business segments such as Agricultural Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Small Business Administration, and Franchise Lending.
Primary Responsibilities- Assists Relationship Managers by performing daily client relationship support activities and keeps the Relationship Manager informed when appropriate.
- Acts as point of contact for Commercial Banking clients for all servicing requests related to client relationships.
- Attends weekly scheduled meetings with Relationship Managers to discuss workflow items such as renewals, new pipeline items, servicing requests, and past‑due reports.
- Provides reports for Relationship Managers including 360 Report, Weekly Sales Report, One View Pipeline Report, Maturities, Past‑Due, and Exception Reporting.
- Facilitates and manages credit application workflow, collecting financial information from clients, submitting facility applications, and managing loan workflow to closing.
- Manages post‑closing requirements such as tickler requirements and exception citations.
- Manages Relationship Managers’ loan maturity pipeline, ensuring that renewals are approved and closed in a timely manner.
- Acts as a liaison between Credit Products and the Commercial Team, handling underwriting and loan fulfillment processes and managing due diligence collection from clients.
- Assists Relationship Managers with sales support functions, including marketing requests, client and prospect presentations, and building prospect information files.
- Opens new deposit products for clients.
- Works closely with Treasury Management team to onboard new Treasury Management clients and guide them to appropriate resources for servicing.
- Maintains consistent data integrity for the relationship team’s client accounts within all source systems.
- Maintains One View administrative data, updating client contact information, merging client records, managing pipeline reports for renewals, and creating prospect/center of influence records.
- Manages data organization within the Relationship Grouping Application to ensure accurate 360 reporting.
- Provides support for clients in specialized business segments such as GIB, SBA, and AG within Commercial Banking.
- Supports Relationship Managers with miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.
This position requires time tracking and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree.
- Or high school diploma or GED with at least two (2) years of general banking experience.
College degree.
Skills and Competencies- Ability to partner with various internal partners across the organization.
- Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and self‑motivation.
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job based on experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $43,500.00 USD
Median: $52,540.00 USD
