Lodge Cast Iron seeks a Director of Finance to lead financial strategy and operations for its heritage manufacturing business in South Pittsburg, TN. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate cost accounting across foundry and production activities. The Director partners with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership to drive margin improvement, capital planning, and data-driven decisions. Responsibilities include managing a small finance team, strengthening internal controls, optimizing cash flow, and aligning financial plans with Lodge's long-term, community-focused growth and commitment to American manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Lead all budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for Lodge Cast Iron's manufacturing operations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance.
- Own cost accounting, standard costing, and margin analysis across foundry and production activities.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and capital investments.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support stable, long-term growth.
- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes to safeguard company assets.
- Provide clear, data-driven insights and dashboards to guide decision-making at all levels.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance and accounting team.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and key financial partners.
- Champion a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement aligned with Lodge's heritage values.
