Summary of Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Loan Operations Specialist II performs intermediate-level loan servicing responsibilities requiring experience, independent judgment, and detailed knowledge of loan documentation and servicing systems. The role supports more complex functions, assists with problem resolution, and may serve as a resource to Specialist I staff. This position ensures loan data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely processing of collateral and servicing activities.
Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Processes complex loan servicing transactions including escrow, collateral updates, and exception resolution.
Reviews and verifies loan boarding information for accuracy.
Corresponds with title companies, insurance providers, and customers.
Researches and resolves escalated servicing issues.
Performs quality control checks on documents and system data.
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements such as RESPA, flood insurance, and FCRA.
Supports audits and internal reviews.
Provides training and guidance to Specialist I employees.
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge:
Understanding of loan servicing regulations, loan documentation, and collateral processes.
Skills:
Analytical thinking, effective communication, problem-solving, accuracy.
Abilities:
Ability to handle complex tasks independently and manage multiple priorities.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2-5 years of loan operations or loan servicing experience.
Work Schedule8:00 am - 5:00 pm - overtime may be required occasionally to meet processing needs.
