Oversee the daily operations and overall functions of the community business office
Maximize cash flow through timely and accurate billing, collections, and reimbursement processes
Provide administrative and office support to the Administrator and leadership team
Manage accounts receivable, petty cash, resident trust funds, and cash receipts
Assist residents and families with move‑ins, tours, financial paperwork, and general inquiries
Direct, coordinate, and monitor all activities of the business office to ensure compliance and efficiency
Submit claims for all payer types in accordance with company policies and all state/federal regulations
Track, monitor, and collect outstanding accounts receivable
Report delinquent accounts and financial concerns to facility leadership
Maintain accurate financial and administrative records

Qualifications:
High school diploma required
Associate degree in Business Administration preferred, but not required
Prior business office experience in a healthcare or long‑term care setting is required
1–3 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience
Working knowledge of accounting procedures, including petty cash, resident trust funds, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts rece
Previous experience (1–3 years) in a nursing home or long‑term care business office strongly preferred
Solid understanding of Long‑Term Care regulations and compliance requirements
Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and Managed Care billing processes is required
Strong organizational, communication, and customer‑service skills
