Ridgeview, a not-for-profit community mental health center, has an immediate opening for a social work or counseling Outpatient Therapist at our Harriman, TN, location. This position is perfect for an early career therapist wanting to gain experience across a broad population range and receive supervision for LCSW or LPC-MHSP licensure. Requirements:
Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.

Job duties:

Responsible for the delivery of outpatient clinical services consisting of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including psychotherapy and consultation with other disciplines.

The ideal candidate will:

• Facilitate the awareness, growth, and psychological development of the client
• Build rapport with the client through empathic listening, caring, and warmth
• Be authentic, genuine, and transparent
• Play a significant role of resolving serious issues and conflicts within the family
• Encourage and motivate individuals to tackle their mental health and behavioral problems effectively
• Provide a safe environment and establish a warm, comfortable therapeutic culture
• Work toward licensure as LCSW, LPC-MHSP, or LMFT if not already licensed
