Therapist – Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients. They develop individualized therapy plans to improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing functions through comprehensive evaluations.
• Design and implement tailored therapy plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to support communication and swallowing improvement.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Possess a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
• Experience working in SNF or similar skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
