The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a reputed hospital in Manchester, TN, and we are looking to hire a dependable Phlebotomist to join their laboratory team. In this role, you will collect and process patient specimens to support accurate laboratory testing for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Schedule:
PRN (12-Hour Shift).
- Collect blood and other specimens safely and accurately from patients of all ages.
- Label, document, and prepare specimens for testing (name, date, time & location).
- Complete routine and STAT lab order collections in a timely manner.
- Obtain patient consent when required for procedures.
- File & deliver laboratory reports to appropriate departments & support daily lab operations.
- Monitor, replace, and maintain phlebotomy supplies and inventory across hospital departments.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance standards.
- Provide excellent patient service and communication.
- Current Tennessee phlebotomy certification required.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical staff.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to high-quality patient care.
- Working Conditions:
Exposure to blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, and varying work environments. - Fast-paced setting with frequent interruptions.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
