EMT Advanced

AMR is seeking an EMT Advanced to provide high-quality pre-hospital care and safe medical transportation for emergency and non-emergency patients. In this role, you will perform advanced life support interventions, complete thorough patient assessments, administer medications within scope, and document care accurately. You will work closely with paramedics, EMTs, and dispatch in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that prioritizes safety, professionalism, and compassionate, patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support and pre-hospital emergency care within scope of practice
• Perform thorough patient assessments and obtain vital signs and histories
• Administer approved medications and perform IV/IO, airway, and cardiac interventions
• Safely operate or assist in operating ambulances and medical transport vehicles
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospitals, and public safety partners
• Accurately complete electronic patient care reports and documentation
• Maintain medical equipment, vehicle readiness, and infection control standards
• Participate in ongoing training, drills, and continuing education
• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care and support to families on scene
• Follow all AMR safety, clinical, and compliance protocols and local regulations
