Job Summary:

Providing supportive care as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility, this role focuses on assisting licensed therapists in implementing patient treatment plans. The position emphasizes promoting patient mobility and functional recovery through hands-on therapy techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists in developing and executing patient treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and treatments to improve patient mobility and strength.
• Monitor and document patient progress, recording vital signs and functional improvements.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy goals and strategies for recovery.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Comply with all safety, health, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities and patient mobilization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with licensed healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to therapy services.
