As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their highest level of independence and well-being.
Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate COTA to join our interdisciplinary therapy team. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to design and implement effective occupational therapy programs for our residents. Responsibilities:Assist Occupational Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized occupational therapy plans
Implement various occupational therapy interventions and activities to help residents achieve their goals
Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure resident progress and adapt therapy plans as needed
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident progress and develop care plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident therapy sessions and progress
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy preferred
Minimum 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
