We are seeking a dedicated and caring Dietary Aide to join our team at The Waters of Kingsport Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, a leading provider of high-quality care in Kingsport, Tennessee. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents by preparing and serving delicious meals and snacks.

As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving, and cleanup. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of food service, reporting any food allergies or special dietary needs, and ensuring that mealtime is a positive and enjoyable experience for our residents. Your attention to detail, ability to work efficiently, and commitment to providing excellent customer service will make you an excellent fit for this role.

• Assist with food preparation, including cooking, serving, and plating meals and snacks
• Maintain accurate records of food service, including food inventory tracking and meal counts
• Report any food allergies or special dietary needs to the dietary team
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the dining areas, kitchen, and equipment
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure smooth food service operations
• Provide excellent customer service to our residents, families, and staff

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
