The Certified Dietary Manager (Director of Dietary) oversees the dietary department to ensure residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a safe and sanitary environment.

• Direct day-to-day dietary operations including meal planning, preparation, and service.
• Develop and maintain menus that meet residents' nutritional needs and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate dietary staff.
• Manage dietary budgets, purchasing, and inventory.
• Collaborate with dietitians, nursing, and other departments on care plans.
• Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation.
• Perform other dietary management duties as assigned.

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential required.
• Long-term Care/skilled Nursing Dietary Experience Preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition for elderly populations.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
