Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Fayetteville, TN.

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM;
Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM CST

Fayetteville, TN 37334

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 4+ months (high possibility of extensions or conversion) Pay Range: $21-23/hr
* Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Perform accurate and efficient venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
• Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures.
• Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections as required.
• Properly identify patients and verify demographic and specimen information.
• Confirm patient information, initials, and signatures following venipuncture.
• Ensure specimen tubes are correctly labeled in the patient's presence.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and maintain required documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Manage multiple priorities accurately in a high-volume environment.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and follow established procedures with minimal supervision.
• Travel between Patient Service Center and In-Office Phlebotomy locations when required.
• Support additional locations with minimal notice based on staffing needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling patient information.

Requirements:

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience:
  Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:
• Experience with:
• Pediatric collections
• Geriatric collections
• Capillary collections
