The Waters of Gainesboro is seeking compassionate and dependable Resident Aide to provide high-quality care and support to our residents. If you have a passion for helping others and want to make a meaningful difference each day, we’d love to hear from you!
Position Summary:The Resident Aide supports residents with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life in a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
- Encourage socialization and participation in activities
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass background check
