Diamond Grove Center Behavioral Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Central Area of Mississippi and surrounding counties for more than 30 years. Diamond Grove Center is located in Louisville;
Miss. Diamond Grove Center is an 85-bed facility that provides a peaceful setting for those seeking psychiatric treatment within a hospital setting. Diamond Grove center offers unique and individualized programming for children and adolescents ages 5-17 years of age. Dimond Grove Center has been set apart from other facilities for having the most tenured leadership team in UHS, as well as a seasoned nursing department.

As a mental health specialist, you will facilitate the admission of psychiatric patients to Diamond Grove Center, by balancing the patient's comfort and ease within the organization's operating needs, with an ability to establish therapeutic rapport and verbally de-escalate patients in crisis are skills that will help make you successful in this role as you facilitate the orderly admissions of patients to the facility.

As a key member of the Diamond Grove Center Team, you will be responsible for integration and coordination of patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements.

• Responsible for creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organizations, mission, vision, and values:
• Demonstrates efficiency in maintaining support services, which are vital to unit operation
• Demonstrates expertise in performance of tasks necessary to maintain a therapeutic milieu and optimum patient care.
• Escorts patient to and from scheduled activities both in and outside to the hospital, off grounds in a safe and professional manner.
• Completes 12-minute checks, special observations and patient monitoring including 1:1, and close observation in an efficient manner.
