What You ll Do Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on reviews and interviews Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers Develop, modify, and implement individual treatment plans Conduct rounds in housing units to monitor inmate adjustment and mental health needs Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health consultations Assist in managing behavioral escalation and mental health transitions Maintain documentation and ensure confidentiality of patient records What You Need
Required:
Licensed or board eligible psychologist in Tennessee BLS certification (or pending)
Experience with psychological assessments and treatment planning Ability to work independently in a correctional setting Preferred:
Prior experience in correctional mental health or similar secure facilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills About the Assignment This full-time role involves providing critical mental health services at a secure facility, supporting inmate mental health through assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
