Experience:
Relevant experience in mental health or psychology, preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $120.00 Benefits:
Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement support What You ll Do Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on clinical interviews and records review Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, medical staff, and social workers Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans for inmates Make rounds in confined housing areas to evaluate inmate mental health status Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and confrontation avoidance strategies Document and maintain accurate records of psychological evaluations and treatments Assist in addressing behavioral escalation and mental health crises in a correctional environment What You Need Licensure:
Board eligible as a Psychologist, verification required
Experience:
Prior experience in mental health or psychological assessment and treatment preferred
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of psychological counseling techniques, ability to work in a correctional setting
Certifications:
BLS certification meeting CSPU requirements or pending attestation About the Assignment This full-time role involves providing mental health care in a correctional environment, performing assessments, developing treatment strategies, and collaborating with healthcare and security staff to ensure inmate well-being.
